Saltair – Salt Water Vanilla Body Butter

Saltair is a brand of skincare products that I ran across while in Ulta. For months I’d breeze past, not paying much attention to them. It wasn’t until I was running low on body butter that I checked out the Salt Water Vanilla Multi-Lipid Body Butter. Usually, I don’t like vanilla-scented body products. I particularly don’t enjoy smelling like food. But this product smells so good. It doesn’t have an overly sweet smell. I suppose it’s the salt water that balances it out.

Initially, I found the body butter to keep my skin moisturized. I especially loved the aromatherapy vibe I would get hours later when I would shower. Now here’s where things go awry. The weather changed. I live in the Northeast region of the country, and during the winter months, it gets extremely cold. And with that comes dry, itchy skin. This body butter was no match for my dry, itchy skin.

I’m not saying that this isn’t a great product. Because it is. Especially during months when the temperature is frigid out.

You can pair other Saltair products, such as the shower gel and body oil, with the body butter for added moisture. For me, that’s not ideal. I want a one and done product.
