3-Step Skincare Regimen
Hey Beautiful!
Who says that skincare has to be cumbersome? It really doesn’t have to be. Great skincare starts with the basics – double cleanse and moisturize.
What is double cleansing? So glad you asked! Double cleansing should be the first step in your routine if you wear makeup. I use Squalane Cleanser by The Ordinary to pre-cleanse my face. This cleanser is an oil that breaks down the foundation, setting powder, blush, highlighter, mascara, and lipstick. By doing this first step, you’re setting the foundation to prepare for deep cleansing. If you don’t wear makeup this pre-cleanse step isn’t necessary.
The next step is to do a second cleanse. For this step, I use The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser for a deep clean. What I like about this cleanser is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling extra dry. Which is a good thing since I have areas on my face that are super dry, especially during the winter months.
*Using a toner is optional according to dermatologists and estheticians.
Finally, to moisturize, I use The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides Rich Surface Hydration Formula. My skin looks and feels hydrated and supple because of this moisturizer. It’s also light weight and non-greasy.
This 3 steps system of The Ordinary products is a great place to start for healthy skin, moisturized skin.
Here is why I love these products:
- They are affordable
- Many dermatologists have approved products from brand
- My aesthetician also approves these products
- They really work
Now, I must admit I also use other products from this brand. I’ll do another blog post about these products.
If you would like to check out these products click here. No, this blog post is not a sponsorship. I just like sharing with others products I believe may be helpful to them.
Have you ever tried The Ordinary Products. If so, what do you think of them.
Until next time,
Suzette
