2025 Word of the Year

Another new year is upon us. I’ve learned not to make resolutions, because honestly, I don’t stick to them. Instead, I ponder on a word that resonates with me. 

The one word that kept nagging at me was consume. A bit of a strange word. Trust me, I know. But hear me out. 

I can admit that I indulge and overindulge at times. Yes, I’ve worked hard my entire life and can afford the high-end perfumes, makeup, body butters, handbags, planner stickers, etc. However, do I need to keep buying more and more? No!

I’ve decided to be intentional with where and what I spend my dollars on in the next four years. That’s another topic I might blog about later on.

In 2025 I will be consuming what I already have. Everything I listed above I have an overabundance of all the things. My goal will be to purchase only the essentials.

What will I do with the money I’ll be saving? I haven’t figured that out just yet.
